Solid antitrust background in private practice (BMA and Souto Corrêa) and with governmental authorities (CADE and the Bundeskartellamt).
Served as in-house commercial counsel at Abbott Laboratories, overseeing global strategic matters for one of its business divisions.
Taught Business Law at the undergraduate level at FundaçãoGetulio Vargas (FGV).

Education

Law degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS).
Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Yale University (USA).
Ph.D. in Commercial Law from the University of São Paulo (USP), with a dissertation on investment funds in Brazil.
International academic experience at the Max Planck Institute and at Justus-Liebig-Universität Giessen in Germany.
